The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies with highs only in the lower 70s. Beach winds will be from the east at around 10 miles per hour.
Waves will be around three feet today, with southeast swells of two to three feet. The ocean water temperature is 72 degrees.

There's a moderate risk of rip currents, which means that wind and wave conditions can result in stronger or more frequent rip currents. Always have a flotation device with you in the water. Swim only in guarded areas and discuss any possible surf zone hazards with the guards.
There is no lightning threat today. The UV index is a 6, which the NWS considers high.

High tide at Belmar will arrive at 7:20 a.m. Low tide will roll in at 1:34 p.m., followed by another high tide at 7:41 p.m.
