Crashes, Closures, Heavy Traffic On 6 Major NJ Roadways

Crashes have slowed traffic on several major roadways on Monday, officials said.

Crashes caused traffic to slow to a crawl on several major New Jersey roadways on Monday, officials said.

The most traffic was perhaps on I-195, where a crash took place on the eastbound side east of Exit 3 and Hamilton Square-Yardville Rd in Hamilton Township, officials said.

The right lane was closed, causing a 10-15 minute delay.

Here's what also happened:

  • US 30: A vehicle spun out on US 30 westbound at Airport Circle/US 130 and Route 38 in Pennsauken. The left lane was closed, causing a 10-15 minute delay.
  • Garden State Parkway: An accident took place on the Garden State Parkway northbound side south of Exit 135 - Central Ave in Clark. The right shoulder was blocked.
  • I-76: A debris spill took place on I-76 westbound west of Exit 1D - US 130 in Gloucester City. One lane may be closed.
  • Garden State Parkway: An accident took place on Garden State Parkway southbound north of Exit 145 - I-280 in East Orange. The left lane was blocked.
  • New Jersey Turnpike - Western Spur: An accident took place on New Jersey Turnpike - Western Spur northbound south of Exit 15W - I-280 in Newark. The right shoulder was blocked.
  • US 1: A debris spill took place on US 1 southbound north of Route 522/Stouts Lane in South Brunswick. The right and center lanes were closed, causing a 5-10 minute delay.
