See the median teacher's salary in every school district for the 2018-19 school year, from highest to lowest.

The state has released information that shows how much your school district, special services district, vocational district and charter school will pay teachers in the 2018-19 school year. Local school districts ranked either very high or low on the list (see below).

The information is part of the state Department of Education's Taxpayer's Guide to Education Spending, which shows the median salary in every New Jersey school district and charter school.

Overall, 273 school districts make more than the state median of $66,150. And it's not just the big towns or the regional districts that pay the most: Indeed, Brigantine is a great place to get a teaching job, where the median salary is $93,275.
