Brielle DWI Checkpoint Friday Night, Another In Holmdel Saturday
The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting two DWI checkpoints this weekend:
BRIELLE, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced Thursday afternoon they will be conducting two DWI checkpoints this weekend:
The first checkpoint will be in Brielle on Friday, July 8, beginning at 10 p.m. and ending at 2 a.m. on Saturday morning.
All southbound vehicles on Rt. 71 will be pulled into the Brielle municipal parking lot and drivers will be assessed for drunken or impaired driving.

The second checkpoint will be in Holmdel Saturday night, July 9, beginning at 10 p.m. and ending at 2 a.m. Saturday. All cars headed northbound on Rt. 35 will be diverted into the Dearborn Farms parking lot.
During both checkpoints, local Brielle and Holmdel police officers will work alongside Task Force members to determine the sobriety of drivers contacted.
