The 16th Annual Fool's Run, presented by Manasquan Recreation Commission, will begin at 10 a.m. on March 31 with the Kid's Run & Fitness Walk at Mallard Park (located on the corner of Potter & Cedar Aves.) The 5K run will begin shortly after at 11 a.m. The event will benefit the recreation building fund.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. on race day. Entry fees are $25 for adults (if received before March 16) and $15 for participants 12 and under. All pre-registered runners will receive a long sleeve mock turtleneck. Pre-race shirt and number pick-up will be on Friday, March 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Beach House.
Awards will be given for the 5K race and for the 1 mile kids run in various age groups for males and females. There will also be an award given to the runner completing the race with the most ridiculous costume.
