The former director of the Manasquan High School Warrior Band has lost his license months after pleading guilty to stealing about $2,300 from the organization between 2015 and 2016, according to the state Board of Examiners.

Alan Abraham, 60, of Belmar pleaded guilty on Sept. 24 to one count of third-degree theft-by-unlawful taking in front of Superior Court Judge Vincent N. Falcetano, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni

On Feb. 4, Abraham was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay restitution, according to the state BOE.
