Fire hydrant flushing will take place in Manasquan very soon, authorities said.

The advisory was sent to residents of the block consisting of Cowart Avenue, Minerva Avenue, North Farragut Avenue and Stockton Lake Boulevard.

Fire hydrant flushing could lead to water discoloration, authorities said.

It was not completely clear when the flushing would take place.
