Glimmer Glass Bridge Work Performed In Manasquan
Three-hour closure for bridge maintenance work.

MANASQUAN, NJ – Due to excessive heat and a greater than usual number of openings, the Glimmer Glass Bridge (W-9), along Brielle Road/Fisk Avenue between Brielle and Manasquan, was closed on Thursday, July 5 from 5 to 8 a.m. in order to perform a realignment of the cables that open the drawbridge.
The Monmouth County Department of Public Works and Engineering has been monitoring the condition of the cables and determined the necessity of this work.
This closure will not affect marine traffic, but all vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be detoured.
