Irish Sports recruitment drive 2016
Join us for awesome fun learning Irish sports at the Shore in 2016, our Adult & Youth Teams have places open for new recruits!

Last year we held Youth & Adult practice sessions in Maclearie Park in Belmar, competitions in Gaelic Park NYC & also demonstrated our sports at the Irish Festival at the Jersey Shore in Sea Girt (see photo stream)!
We play a couple of sports you will love for their skill, speed & team play

- Gaelic Football - If you’ve played Soccer, Rugby, Volleyball or Basketball - Then your skills will give you an edge
- Hurling - If you’ve played Baseball, Lacrosse or Hockey - Then your skills will also transfer
- Camogie - the female version of Hurling - Again Softball, Lacrosse or Hockey (Ice/Field) gives you a headstart
Even if you have not played any of the above, it’s a fun & social sport to pick up from scratch!!

the big kicker as far as we are concerned is the cost to take part, it’s going to be very little when compared with other organized team sports. All you will need is a pair of Cleats & Mouthguard (Gaelic Football). For Hurling, if you have a Lacrosse Helmet, that a start but don’t worry, we have some spares for you to borrow! Jersey Shore GAA is a Non-Profit Org, all the money we make goes back into running even more Shore Community GAA events!
