Joan Ann Goodrich Of Belmar Dies At 83

Joan Ann Marshall Goodrich of Belmar died Friday, August 7, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She was 83.

She was born in Ocean Grove, and lived in Belmar for over 50 Years. Joan was a teacher’s assistant at Belmar Elementary School for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Clarence O. Goodrich Jr. in 2014. She is survived by two sons Douglas, of Wayne, NJ and Chris, of Raritan, NJ; two brothers. Bob and Don Marshall; a sister Peggy Westergard. She also leaves six grandchildren Justin, Erica, Jillian, Mark, Emily and Catherine.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at the Johnson-McGinley Funeral Home, 2652 Route 138, Wall Township.on Wednesday, August 12,

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Hamilton Cemetery, Neptune. Donations in her memory would be appreciated to the American Diabetes Association CenterPointe II, Suite 103 1160 Route 22 East, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
