'Ladybug Girl' Children's Authors at BookTowne Saturday

The creators of the popular children's book series "Ladybug Girl" are scheduled to appear Saturday at , 171 Main St. in Manasquan.

The two authors and illustrators of the New York Times best-selling series will be on hand between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for a reading of their latest installment "Ladybug Girl and Bingo," store owner Rita Maggio said. 

David Soman and Jacky Davis will also be signing copies of their new book in between readings, Maggio said.

Two group reading sessions will be held at 11 a.m. and noon, Maggio said.

The indepedently-owned bookstore -- celebratng its fifth anniversary this year -- will also provide an activity for kids, Maggio said.
