Local Purse Snatchers Indicted on Manasquan Charges

Belmar man, Bradley Beach woman face three counts from summer arrests

Two locals recently were indicted on charges including theft for their alleged roles during an incident in Manasquan last summer, documents show. 

Daniel Ferrara Jr., 40, of 14th Avenue in Belmar, and Wendy Siemon, 45, of Bradley Boulevard in Bradley Beach, each were indicted on three counts stemming from several alleged thefts in Manasquan and Neptune, the indictment says. 

The pair is charged with third-degree theft of movable property for stealing a purse containing items including cash worth in excess of $500 on July 6 in Manasquan, the indictment says.

They also face fourth-degree conspiracy and theft charges for stealing a purse containing more than $200 worth of cash and items on June 23 in Neptune, the indictment says.
