Manasquan Alum To Perform At High School Theater Fundraiser
The singer, who has shared a stage with the likes of Julie Andrews, is returning to his NJ roots to raise funds for the upcoming renovations
MANASQUAN, NJ - He’s toured the world with his arena rock band Trans-Siberian Orchestra. He’s shared the stage with the likes of Julie Andrews and has collaborated as a guest artist with major American choir organization Young Voices. Now, Manasquan High School alumnus Chris Pinnella is returning to his Jersey roots.
On Dec. 4, Pinnella and his 10-piece orchestra will be performing in “An Evening With Chris Pinnella” at the Jack Nicholson Theatre at Manasquan High School, a musical fundraiser to help raise money for the $400,000 upgrades needed to restore the performance space. All proceeds will help provide upgrades to the theater with new seats, audio system, lighting system, staging and overall renovations.
The evening will also feature Pinnella’s collaboration from students in Manasquan High School's drama and chorus programs, from a gospel arrangement of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' to Pinnella's signature version of 'Hallelujah' and his original song 'Rise.’

"To say I'm thrilled about this night is an understatement,” Pinnella said in a statement. “It is a gift to be able to present this evening of music with a phenomenal group of musicians, alongside the phenomenal staff and students at Manasquan High School. If this year and a half has taught me anything, it's resilience and hope; and that's what we will be bringing to you on December 4th.”
While $125 cocktail reception VIP tickets are sold out, members of the public can purchase concert tickets for $40 ($30 is tax deductible for each ticket).
