Manasquan Among NJ's Best School Districts
A new ranking of New Jersey's best school districts has been released.

Data compiler Niche has ranked New Jersey's best school districts for 2019. The rankings were released this week as part of the website's 2019 K-12 rankings. Three local districts cracked the top 100.
To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
Each district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

The top-ranked school district in New Jersey is Millburn. Niche gave Millburn an A or an A+ in all categories except for diversity and food, each of which received a B.
Point Pleasant Beach district was 62nd on the list, the Manasquan School District was 85th and Point Pleasant Boro was 90th.

According to Niche, the Jericho Union Free School District in Jericho, New York, is the best school district in the country overall.
With an overall Niche grade of A+, the district received a grade of A+ in academics, teachers, clubs and activities, college prep and health and safety. In the category of diversity, Niche awarded the school district a B+.
