The Manasquan area's 48 mph wind Sunday was among the fastest recorded in New Jersey this weekend. The New Jersey Weather & Climate Network, which monitors select towns spread throughout the state, listed the Manasquan area's wind as among the 15 strongest logged that day.
The following areas listed faster maximum wind speeds:
- Lower Alloways Creek: 81 mph
- Logan Township: 64
- Berkeley Township: 62
- Sea Girt: 62
- High Point Monument: 61
- Seaside Heights: 56
- Moorestown: 55
