Manasquan Author to Debut Novel at BookTowne on Sunday, May 22

Journalist and Manasquan resident Patricia Perry Donovan will launch her debut novel DELIVER HER at BookTowne on Sunday, May 22 from 1-3 pm. The event will feature author Q&A, followed by book signing.

DELIVER HER explores an extreme solution for parents of troubled teens: the hiring of a transport service to take a child to treatment or a therapeutic program.

In DELIVER HER, which to date has garnered more than 350 five-star reviews, distraught mother Meg Carmody makes a fateful call to a transporter who specializes in shuttling troubled teens to therapeutic programs, unbeknownst to her estranged husband.

When the transport of the tormented teen goes awry—and Alex goes missing—Meg must face the consequences of her decision and her deception. The hunt for Alex reveals that Meg is not the only one keeping secrets.
