Dara Mabrey led the Manasquan High School girls basketball team to a Tournament of Champions title on Sunday, according to The Asbury Park Press.
Mabrey finished with a game-high 30 points as top-seeded Manasquan held on for a 72-60 victory over third-seeded Franklin in the TOC final at the CURE Insurance Arena, according to the Press. The team lost to Franklin at the buzzer in last year’s TOC title game.
Mabrey, the senior point guard, scored 15 points in the fourth quarter after the Warriors saw their 36-22 third quarter lead shrink to a one-point game, according to the report.

Last week, Manasquan won its fifth straight NJSIAA Group II title, outlasting a scrappy Newark Tech squad 95-79 in one of the more entertaining games of the season which saw the Warriors one-time 18-point lead evaporate to five late in the third quarter. Read more here...
