Manasquan Main Street Paving Update

Here's the latest on the Main Street paving project in Manasquan:

• The Main Street Paving Project includes road resurfacing, flood mitigation and drainage improvements on Main Street between the bridge and the NJ Transit Railway.
• Due to available funding, the project has been broken down into two phases.
• Phase 1, highlighted in green on the photo, begins just west of the Main Street Bridge and extends west to approximately Jackson Avenue. Phase two will continue the project westward to the NJ Transit railway.

Funding:

• Phase 1 (green): Manasquan has secured $350,000 in NJDOT municipal aid
• Phase 2 (blue): Manasquan has secured $290,000 in NJDOT municipal aid

Schedule & Updates:

• The project is in the final design stage and is expected to be released for public bid with construction expected to commence Fall 2019.
