10K Without Power In NJ, 7K In Morris, Monmouth: Here's Where

Nearly 10,000 people were without power on Friday as New Jersey was dealing with the aftermath of overnight storms that swept across the region.

The worst of the power outages were in Monmouth County, where more than 6,000 people were without power (see list of towns below). Nearly 3,000 were without power in Morris County.

A wind advisory is in effect until 11 p.m. in most parts of the state. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few more power outages may result, according to the National Weather Service.
