The popular Jersey Shore bar and club has to comply with a set of rules or face the consequences, according to police.
A popular Jersey Shore club and bar risked dire consequences if it didn't comply with a set of rules, according a report.
The Parker House in Sea Girt risked losing its liquor license and its renewal hinged on complying with 13 conditions, according to police. They include having closed-circuit TV cameras in and around the building and requiring that a security person outside to check IDs.
Police Chief Kevin Davenport told Patch that Parker House is located in a neighborhood where people live and sleep, adding that Sea Girt has a zero-tolerance policy for cars stopping in the street and blocking traffic, public urination and consuming alcohol in public nearby.

The popular bar attracts thousands of people each year, especially on weekends, when people come to see live bands and guitar players, or they just come to drink and dance.
The bar, which was founded in 1878, declined to comment to Patch. But it did post a message on social media that seemed to indicate that it plans to fully support the town's efforts.
