Patricia Lynn Mayer Of Point Pleasant Dies At 70
Services scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.

Patricia Lynn Mayer, 70, of Point Pleasant passed away at her home on Sunday, May 24 with her family by her side.
Patricia was born in Mount Holly and raised in Manasquan. She was a graduate of Manasquan High School. Patricia was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan. She was a homemaker who loved writing, gardening and caring for her grandchildren.

Patricia was predeceased by her mother Emilie Flammer. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Raymond Mayer of Point Pleasant; her father Richard Flammer and wife Pat of Brick; her children Robin (Brian) Mayer-Carroll of Point Pleasant, Chris (Angele) Mayer of Point Pleasant, Brian (Amy) Mayer of Farmingdale, Jodie Mayer of Point Pleasant, Traci (Paul, Jr.) Wood of Clifton and Shawn Mayer of Sandy, Utah.
Patricia is also survived by a brother, Richard Flammer of San Diego, CA; three sisters Candy (Doug) Berger of Dallas, TX, Sherry Flammer of Napa, CA and Janet Pospisil and husband Billy of Manasquan; seven grandchildren Christopher, Alex, Mackenzie, Parker, Bennett, Cole and Emma. Family and friends are invited to a attend a memorial visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 25 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26 at First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or www.cancer.org.
