Point Beach Wins Playoff Game: Burlington City Next

The Florence High School football team traveled to Point Pleasant Beach for a Central Jersey Group 1 quarterfinal game, according to the Burlington County Times.

Florence (5-4) held a 7-0 lead at halftime. But following the mid-game break, the Garnet Gulls (8-1) came out fired up and scored 21 unanswered points to top the Flashes 21-7.

Point Beach (8-1) will host No. 7 Burlington City, a 20-17 winner over No. 2 South Hunterdon, in the semifinals.
