Point Pleasant salon, bleach., to host fundraiser for Cancer Concern Center on Saturday
bleach. Cut-A-Thon on Oct. 29 will support non-profit Cancer Concern Center in search for new home in Manasquan/Point Pleasant area

The Cancer Concern Center is pleased to announce that bleach., located at 2608 Route 88 in Point Pleasant, is hosting a Cut-a-Thon fundraiser this Saturday, October 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Schedule an appointment for a haircut/blowout ($40) or blowout ($25), and bleach. will donate all proceeds to the non-profit Cancer Concern Center.
For 20 years, the Cancer Concern Center was located in Point Pleasant Beach, providing support groups, nutritional counseling, new wigs, and day-to-day emotional assistance at no charge to local women and men with any type of cancer.
Unfortunately, earlier this year, the Cancer Concern Center's lease was terminated. At this time, the Cancer Concern Center seeks an affordable, small space (600-700 square feet) in the Point Pleasant area that is appropriate for support groups. The location should be handicapped-accessible and have a bathroom.
