Details: 'Police Activity' Delayed Manasquan School Opening
UPDATE: Details were released on a police situation that was serious enough to delay school in Manasquan on Monday, officials said.
MANASQUAN – Detais were released on a police situation that was serious enough to delay school in Manasquan on Monday, officials said.
Overnight, there was an incident at The Coast Star which involved police activity, officials said. This incident was determined to be a false alarm and the area was cleared and considered safe, police said.
Because of the police activity on Broad Street, the Manasquan School District will operate on a 90-minute delayed opening schedule for all students and staff on Monday.

Manasquan High School will open at 9:04 a.m. and Manasquan Elementary School will open at 10 a.m.
Before-school care was also canceled for Monday.
