Sylvia Mushock Of Manasquan Dies At 96

Sylvia Mushock, 96, of Manasquan, formerly of Howell Township, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

She was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, and lived in Jersey City prior to moving to Howell Township several years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband, John S. Mushock; her son, John P. Mushock; her daughter, Laura Deno, and her grandson, Mark Mushock. Surviving are her children, Ronald Mushock, Naples, Florida, Richard Mushock, Millstone Township, Janet Orminati, Lakehurst, and Thomas Mushock, Fargo, North Dakota; seven grandchildren, Ronald Mushock, Jeffrey Mushock, John P. Mushock, Jr., John Deno, Jean-Paul Orminati, Paul Mushock and Heather Mushock; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Sophia Deno.

Funeral services are private. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
