Just yesterday I was at the Monmouth County Clerks Office in Freehold NJ to update my Monmouth County Veterans ID and Peddlers yellow card and talking to the staff ( the best staff in county government anywhere in New Jersey as well as our Monmouth County Clerk M. Claire French )I was saying about a large issue with the VA card from the federal government and they did not know about the risk (they do now) as I was showing them the social security number imbedded in the card with my bar reader on my cheap cell phone I said I needed to re post this blog again and with that I made a request that when a veteran came for a county Id they would be told about this risk and also told the county card does not store any information on its free veterans county ID which you may get at the county clerks office M-F 9 to 4 pm you will need your DD214 which they will record for free great thing to have done. So to my veterans friends , brothers and sisters please watch the video and follow this rule never have your card in your wallet or purse except when you are going to be doing official business with the government.
