Two Men Busted For Drugs, $67K In Belmar Area Raid

Two men were arrested this past week after the Belmar police seized LSD, psychedelic mushrooms, ecstasy and $67,200 in cash at their home, police said.

Dane Fischl and Christopher Gathman, both of 1623 Main Street in Lake Como, were arrested on April 3 during the execution of a search warrant by Belmar police of their first-floor residence, according to Tapinto.net.

Fischl, 33, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute psychedelic mushrooms, LSD and marijuana. He was also charged three counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone, according to the report.

Fischl was sent to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold pending a detention hearing, according to The Asbury Park Press.

Gathman, 30, was charged with possession of ecstasy, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was charged and released pending a court date, according to The Asbury Park Press.
