Woman Shot In Belmar Motel Friday Afternoon
A woman was shot in a motel in Belmar Friday afternoon; she suffered non-fatal injuries, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor.
BELMAR, NJ - A woman was shot in a motel in Belmar Friday afternoon; she suffered non-fatal injuries and was taken to a local hospital, said a spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor.
The woman was shot at Belmar Motor Lodge on Rt. 35: Shortly before 1:15 p.m. Friday, Belmar Police were called to the motel for a report of gunfire. At that location, first responders found the woman who had sustained a single gunshot wound to the lower body.
She was transported to a local hospital, where she remains hospitalized in stable condition.
