The babies fell into a sewage drain, officials said.

MANCHESTER, NJ -- A mother duck was successfully reunited with her babies Friday morning after they fell into a sewage drain in Manchester, the township said.
In a post on Facebook, the township praised Raymond Sloan, Harry Wright, and James Mohn, employees of the township's public works department, who scooped the 10 babies out of the drain with a fishing net.

Manchester Township police were called about the ducklings, which had fallen into the drain on Cabin Brook Crescent, and they and the public works crew successfully rescued the babies and reunited them with their mother, the post said.
