The crash closed the road briefly Friday morning for the investigation, police said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Two people were injured in a crash on Route 571 Friday morning that resulted in one vehicle overturning, Manchester police said.
Alex Luft, 19, of Manchester, and Danielle Rosiejka, 32, of Jackson, both were taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River for treatment after the crash, Lt. Vincent Manco said.
The crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Route 571 — Ridgeway Road — and Beacon Street. Luft was driving a blue 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Rosiejka was southbound in the left lane on Route 571 in a 2014 Nissan Rogue.

Luft had been stopped at the stop sign at Beacon Street, then pulled into the intersection intending to turn left and was hit hit by Rosiejka's Nissan, Manco said.
The impact caused the Jeep to roll over onto its passenger side and then onto the driver side before it came to rest facing east and caused its driver's side airbag to deploy. The Nissan wound up in the southbound lanes disabled with multiple air bags deployed and sustained heavy front end damage, he said.
