27 Manchester Students Honored For Stellar AP Test Scores

Students taking Advanced Placement tests can take exams at the end of the year; the scores can help in college course placement.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Board of Education honored 27 students who scored well on their Advanced Placement exams in the 2022-23 school year.

The students take the AP exams in May, with the scores being used by colleges for course placement and in some cases, granting credit to students for coursework.

To be eligible for course credit, students have to score a 4 or a 5 (out of 5 possible) on the exams.

Manchester Township offers 17 AP courses in a variety of subjects, and many students take multiple courses.
