3 Cocaine Distribution Cases End In Guilty Pleas For Manchester Man

MANCHESTER, NJ — A Manchester Township man has pleaded guilty in connection with three drug distribution cases where he was charged in 2025, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said Thursday.

Tariki D. Foster, 41, pleaded guilty on Monday before Superior Court Judge Kenneth T. Palmer to charges in three cases, the prosecutor's office said.

He admitted to possession of 5 ounces or more of cocaine with intent to distribute on June 6, 2025, in Manchester; to distribution of cocaine on July 17, 2025, in Toms River, and to possession of more than one-half ounce but less than 5 ouncs of cocaine with intent to distribute on Sept. 19, 2025, also in Toms River, the prosecutor's office said.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 4, and faces up to 18 years in prison, with the state seeking the following terms that would run concurrently: 18 years on the June 6, 2025 offense out of Manchester; five years on the July 17, 2025 case from Toms River, and 10 years on the case from Sept. 19, 2025 in Toms River, the prosecutor's office said.

Foster was arrested June 6, 2025, when New Jersey State Police detectives executed a search warrant on a home Foster was using to store and distribute cocaine and seized more than 10 ounces of cocaine, authorities said. Foster was arrested and later released as a consequence of New Jersey Bail Reform, authorities said.

He was arrested July 17, 2025, after police from Toms River and Brick saw him engage in a suspected drug deal with two people in a white Jeep, authorities said. Detectives pulled over the Jeep and found the people in possession in 2-1/2 grams of cocaine, prosecutors said.

The Jeep occupants were arrested and charged and their charges remain pending, the prosecutor's office said. The investigation found Foster had sold them the cocaine, and he was arrested after police found him at a convenience store in Toms River, authorities said. He was later released again under bail reform rules.

Foster was arrested on Sept. 19, 2025, following another investigation after he and Joseph Broxmeyer, 58, Jackson, were identified as distributing methamphetamine and cocaine in the Ocean County area, the prosecutor's office said.

Search warrants executed on Sept. 19 at a storage facility in Brick Township and homes in Toms River and Jackson led to the seizure of unspecified amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), drug paraphernalia, and nearly $5,170 in cash, authorities said

Following that arrest, Foster was ordered held and has remained in the Ocean County Jail, the prosecutor's office said.

Broxmeyer also was arrested Sept. 19, 2025 and charged, and later released under bail reform. The charges against him remain pending, the prosecutor's office said.
