$495K Jersey Cash 5, $30K MegaMillions Winners In Ocean County

Breaking: The Jersey Cash 5 winner splits a nearly $1 million jackpot in the lottery game.

MANCHESTER, NJ — If you bought Jersey Cash 5 lottery tickets in Manchester over the weekend, you better check them: someone is holding a ticket worth more than $495,000.

In addition, someone is holding a MegaMillions ticket purchased in Toms River that's worth $30,000, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot on Saturday, Jan. 20, was $991,432; two tickets had all five numbers in the drawing and are worth $495,716 each.

The Manchester ticket was purchased at the Exxon station at 1 Commonwealth Boulevard in Manchester, lottery officials said. The second ticket was purchased in Succasunna, in Morris County. The retailers receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets.

The Jersey Cash 5 winning numbers drawn Saturday, Jan. 20, were: 10, 12, 25, 31 and 39 and the XTRA number was: 03.

In addition, someone who bought a MegaMillions ticket at Wawa 8307, located at 1600 Route 37 West — the Wawa at the corner of Route 37 and Northampton Boulevard — is holding one worth $30,000, lottery officials said.

That ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn on Friday, Jan. 19, winning the $10,000 prize. That ticket was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $30,000.

The winning numbers for the Friday, Jan. 19 drawing were: 03, 17, 23, 49 and 66. The Gold Mega Ball was 23, and the Megaplier Multlier was 03.
