6 Seek 3 Seats On Manchester Township School Board

MANCHESTER, NJ — Six people have submitted candidates' petitions to run for three available terms on the Manchester Township Board of Education.

Incumbents Laura Wingler, Gloria E. Adkinson, and Timothy Poss are seeking re-election to their seats on the board. The seats are three-year terms.

Also seeking election are PaulaAnn Fazio, Paula Nowakowski and Steven Giordano.

Wingler, who serves as the board president, Poss and Adkinson were running mates in the 2023 election. This year, however, the three are running under different slogans.

Wingler is seeking her third term on the board. She was first elected in 2020, and was re-elected in 2023. She is running under the slogan "Putting Kids First".

Adkinson is seeking her second term on the school board and is running under the slogan "Experienced, Dedicated, Trusted".

Poss, who was appointed to the school board in 2023 after the resignation of Ken Pate, is leading a slate that includes Nowakowski and Giordano. Their slogan is "Manchester Kids First".

Fazio is running as a newcomer and is running under the slogan "For The Children".
