$767K Jersey Cash 5 Jackpot Ticket Sold In Ocean County

MANCHESTER, NJ — Someone is holding a lottery ticket worth three-quarters of a million dollars Wednesday morning, and New Jersey Lottery officials say that ticket was purchased in Ocean County.

The winning ticket for the Jersey Cash 5 lottery drawing of Tuesday, Oct. 10, was purchased at Vingo Liquor, 1201 Route 70 West in Whiting, lottery officials said. The jackpot was $766,918, lottery officials said.

The winning numbers were: 03, 18, 19, 35 and 36 and the XTRA number was: 04.

Vingo Liquor will receive a $2,000 bonus check for selling the winning ticket.

Executive Director Carole Hedinger announced that there were 695,210 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 128 ticketholders won $493 each and 11 others won $1,972 each with the addition of XTRA.
