Air Show At Capacity, Parking Closed, Joint Base Says

If you were planning to go or on your way to the Air Show at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, the show has been shut down.

JOINT BASE McGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, NJ — If you were still considering heading to the Air And Space Open House at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, turn around.

The base is at its maximum capacity for the show and no more people are being permitted in, officials said.

Drivers who got stuck in traffic trying to get into the air show said New Jersey State Police were driving along the line of vehicles telling them the show was closed to additional vehicles and to turn around.

"We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to hosting you at our next Air & Space Open House in 2025," base officials said in a statement.
