Alex George Named Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary

Alex George, Director of Student & Administrative Services for the Manchester Twp. School District, was surprised at a recent Rotary Club breakfast when it was announced that he has been named a Paul Harris Fellow.

Rotary District Governor, Sheila Vinton, presented Mr. George with a plaque, medal and lapel pin at the Lakehurst-Manchester Rotary Club's monthly breakfast at the Lakehurst Diner. She said the recognition, named for Rotary founder Paul Harris, may be given to $1,000 donors to the Rotary Foundation, or in this case, to a person chosen for their outstanding commitment to the club or the community.

Mr. George is the former principal of Manchester Township High School, where he worked with and supported service-oriented student groups including the Interact Club, which is an affiliate of Rotary.
