MANCHESTER, NJ — Five kittens were rescued from a storm drain this week thanks to the Whiting Fire Company.
Firefighters went to Hudson Parkway shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday at the request of Animal Control, the fire company shared on social media.
Multiple kittens were trapped in a storm drain.
"Crews quickly secured the storm grate and made entry, successfully rescuing five young kittens," the fire company said.
The kittens were all safely removed and given to the Animal Control officer.
