• Manchester Man Remembered For Love Of Doo-Wop, Singing, After Fatal Crash (patch.com) — Manchester readers are learning more about longtime Whiting resident Harvey Sattleman, an 80-year-old doo-wop enthusiast remembered for his warm personality and love of singing after he died in a Sept. 11 head-on crash in Marlboro. Friends credit him with inspiring local musical interests and even business directions, while officials say the Route 79 collision also injured the other driver, who is expected to recover.
