Armed Indiana Man Charged In Threats At Lakehurst Home: Police
The man is accused of making threats to the ex-boyfriend of his girlfriend, and had two loaded handguns in his vehicle, police said.

LAKEHURST, NJ — An Indiana man who showed up at a Lakehurst man's home with a pair of handguns and threatened the man is being held at the Ocean County Jail, Lakehurst police said.
Carlos Villarreal, 33, of Hobart, Indiana, has been held at the jail since the Oct. 20 incident, Lakehurst Police Officer Robert Schroeck said. He is charged with weapons offenses and making terroristic threats.
Police were called to a Lakehurst home shortly before 1 p.m. on Oct. 20, and Sgt. Iain James and Offier John Kurdes found Villarreal and an unidentified woman outside the home; Villarreal was sitting in a vehicle, Schroeck said.

The investigation determined Villarreal had made threats toward his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, and the investigation led to a search of the vehicle Villarreal was sitting in.
The search turned up a loaded 9mm Glock 43 handgun, a loaded .45-caliber American Tactical handgun, multiple rounds of 9mm and .45 caliber hollow point ammunition, and a switch-blade knife, he said.

Villarreal was charged with two counts of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose; two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, one count of third-degree terroristic threats, two counts of fourth-degree prohibited weapons, one count of fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and one count of fourth-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Manchester Township police assisted with the investigation, Schroeck said.
