ASHI Certified Instructor Course (CPR \ AED Instructorship)

This is a Instructor Development Course for American Safety and Health Institutes! HealthForce NJ LLC is pleased to offer this course. There are three stages of completing this course, Let us explain each phase to you:
First Phase: This is the very first phase of this course. This is the online course that you are required to take prior to taking the second phase. The online portion of the course will take 2-3 hours to complete. We encourage that you thoroughly go through the online course. Also during this phase your CPR and AED Skills will be tested. You will be required to set up a date and a time to come take the practical portion of the course
Second Phase: After you have completed the first phase you are going to take the second phase of the course which is a classroom setting instructor led course. This portion of the phase covers many topics including Company Expectations, ASHI's Expectations and Standards and Compliance. You will also learn about certain legal aspects of becoming an Instructor, learn about the different courses you may be able to teach, and lastly learn about the different roles and responsibilities of each key person including Training Center Director, President, Training Center Faculty, Instructors, and Assistant Instructors. We will also be talking about the third and final phase of this course during the second phase.
Third Phase: The third phase may be completed during the Second Phase however it depends on each individual course. Instructor Candidates will either teach a class under the Supervision of the Training Center Director or Training Center Faculty or they will prepare a presentation related to a CPR \ AED \ First Aid Skill that is taught in one of the courses, this presentation will be presented to the rest of the class.
The cost of the course is $200.00, we accept credit cards, cash, and checks. Credit Card will be processed through our online store which is hosted through square. After you sign up for the course you will recieve an Invoice to pay the course fee.
