Back to School: Lakehurst School 2022-23 Calendar

LAKEHURST, NJ — Families are getting started on their back-to-school planning, and here are important dates for the school year for students in the Lakehurst School District.

The first day of school for students in Lakehurst is Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Before the first day, there is orientation for preschool, kindergarten and new students on Aug. 22. Orientation is from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

First Day: Wednesday, Sept. 7

Oct. 10: Schools closed for students; staff in-service day

Nov. 7-10: Schools closed fall break/teacher convention

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-25 (early dismissal Nov. 23)

Nov. 28-Dec.2: Early dismissal, parent-teacher conferences

Winter Break: Ded. 24-Jan. 2 (Early dismissal on Dec. 23)

Jan. 16: School closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Feb. 17-20: School closed for Presidents' Day

Spring Break: April 7-14

May 26-29: School closed, Memorial Day

June 16: School closed, Juneteenth

Last Day: June 22
