Back to School: Manchester Township Schools 2022-23 Calendar

MANCHESTER, NJ — Families are getting started on their back-to-school planning, and here are important dates for the school year for students in the Manchester Township School District.

The first day of school for students in Manchester is Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

First day: Tuesday, Sept. 6

Oct. 10: School closed, Columbus Day; professional development day for staff

Oct. 25-27: Early dismissal for students

Nov. 7-11: School closed, fall break (Election Day, Teacher Convention)

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-25 (Early dismissal Nov. 23)

Winter Break: Dec. 24-Jan. 2 (Early dismissal Dec. 23)

Jan. 16: School closed, Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Jan. 26-27, 30: Early dismissal for students

Jan. 31: Schools closed for students, professional development for staff

Feb. 17-20: School closed, Presidents' Day

March 8-10: Early dismissal for students

Spring Break: April 7-14 (April 6, early dismissal)

May 26-29: School closed, Memorial Day

June 16: School closed, Juneteenth

Last Day: June 20 (tentative)

The Manchester Township School District does not have emergency closure days built into the calendar. If emergency closures are needed (and depending on when they happen) Feb. 17 and May 26 would become school days. Additional days would be added to the end of the year.
