Students at had an exciting morning as they said goodbye to summer vacation and headed back to school Wednesday. 

Superintendent David Trethaway and Principal Diane Pedroza greeted children as they made their way into the Route 571 school. Students all over Manchester and Lakehurst are beginning the 2012-13 school year Wednesday. 

Not all are back in class quite yet -- Manchester Township Middle School is closed for mold removal and classes will be held Wednesday afternoon into the evening at the township's high school.
