Bands Strut Their Stuff at Manchester's Music Under the Stars

Ten high school marching bands show off their talents for their fans and judges as the annual event resumes

Marching bands from 10 schools -- , Howell, Toms River East, Central Regional, Long Branch, Monmouth Regional, Williamstown, Freehold, Jackson Liberty and Jackson Memorial, as well as host Manchester -- took the field at Manchester High School on Saturday night for Music Under the Stars.

The competition, resuming after a one-year hiatus, is a US Scholastic Band Association sanctioned event. Judges critiqued the bands on everything from their musical performances to synchronicity of their color guards.
