Boxing For A Cause: Tournament To Raise Funds for Food Pantry
New Jersey Diamond Gloves Tournament Saturday at Toms River High School South starts at 7 p.m. and raises money for the People's Pantry

If you enjoy boxing, take a ride to Toms River South on Saturday night, where you can see locals show their skills in the ring and, while you’re at it, help a good cause.
The New Jersey Association of U.S. Boxing will be holding a 2014 New Jersey Diamond Gloves Boxing Tournament at the high school on Saturday night. Boxing begins at 7 p.m. sharp.
The tournament is presented by Capone’s Gourmet Pizza and Pasta, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the People’s Pantry, a food pantry that assists families struggling to put food on the table due to economic hardships.

The tournament features boxers from around the state. The schedule can be found here.
Tickets available at the door are $25 for general admission, $30 for ringside seating. A buffet dinner and boxing is $50 per ticket. Tickets are available at Capone’s, 17 Washington St. Toms River.

The doors at Toms River South open at 6:30 p.m. Parking is available in the parking lot in front of the school, at 55 Hyers St. (off Main Street) and in the parking lot accessible from Hooper Avenue.
