Representative Chris Smith and today's issues

I have been talking with Representative Chris Smith's staff in Washington DC and NJ. I 've been puzzled why my Representative has not spoken out regarding financial matters, gun control, DOMA  and other issues dominating TODAY's national news. Check out his website:http://chrissmith.house.gov/news/ . Search through the archive of   articles  listed in his website.  Just where does the Congressman stand on issues in today's headlines?

I wish he'd speak up TODAY on the issues resulting from the slaughter of the children and heroic educators of Newtown Ct.  

 I'd guess Representative Chris Smith's constituents would enjoy hearing more on his current positions on isssues in today's headlines.  Surely out of towners like "Ammoland" should not be telling the people in 08759 why we should vote agains him.
