The accident at the Wawa in Whiting happened shortly after 10:15 a.m., when the green 2000 Chrysler Town and Country being driven east through the north parking lot by Remedios Brown, 80, made a left turn and collided with a green 2000 Mack Pinto Brothers garbage truck driven by James L. Rupinski, 45, Parker said. The garbage truck then hit a tan 2000 Mack recycling tractor trailer belonging to Ocean County that was parked in a designated parking space, Parker said.

Neither Brown nor Rupinski was hurt, she said.
