Celebrate The Town At Manchester Day
The daylong event will have music, games, free swimming at Harry Wright Lake and more.

MANCHESTER, NJ -- Manchester Township will celebrate the township's founding at its annual Manchester Day at Harry Wright Lake.
The 2016 Manchester Day celebration, scheduled for Saturday, June 25, kicks off with opening ceremonies at noon and continues throughout the day with free rides and games for kids, contests, kayak races, musical performances, and vendors selling goods and food. The rain date is Sunday, June 26.
This year’s headlining musicians are Julian and Dominique performing at 6 p.m., and “Tusk,” the Fleetwood Mac tribute band, performing at 7:30 p.m. Capping off the day’s activities will be a spectacular fireworks display over the waters of Harry Wright Lake.

“Manchester Day is a great opportunity for our families to come together and have fun as a community,” Recreation Director Tracey Lynch said. “I hope that all of our residents can attend and create some special memories with their families and neighbors.”
New to this year’s event is a live K9 demonstration by the Manchester Township Police Department K9 Unit at 4 p.m.

There also will be free swimming at Harry Wright Lake in celebration of Manchester Day — no beach badge required all day.
WJRZ Radio, which is sponsoring Manchester Day, will take the stage at 5 p.m. for giveaways. Camping World is providing a trailer for the performers.
A free shuttle bus will be running during Manchester Day — the schedule is below.
