'Cheater' Car Door Left Behind In Manchester Hit-Run Crash: PD

Police believe someone must be able to identify the driver based on the car door left behind following the crash.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township police are seeking tips following a hit-and-run crash that left car parts, including a passenger door with the word "CHEATER" scratched into it, strewn all over a township yard.

The hit-and-run crash was reported Sunday morning in the Pine Lake Park section, Manchester police said.

The force of the collision pushed the victim's vehicle out of the driveway of the home where it was parked, and police said a debris field of parts from the suspect's vehicle — a silver Audi A4, 2004 to 2008 model year — all over the front lawn.
